王鵬,南方科技大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院講席教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,國家首批千人計(jì)劃特聘專家,教育部長江學(xué)者特聘教授,深圳市國家級領(lǐng)軍人才。中國生物物理學(xué)會糖生物學(xué)分會會長。1984年獲南開大學(xué)化學(xué)理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位,1985年考入國家CGP項(xiàng)目赴美留學(xué),1990年獲美國加州大學(xué)伯克利分校化學(xué)博士學(xué)位。獲美國科學(xué)促進(jìn)會(AAAS)會士,俄亥俄州杰出學(xué)者,佐治亞州研究聯(lián)盟杰出學(xué)者榮譽(yù)稱號。2023年,入選“2023全球前2%頂尖科學(xué)家(終身)榜單”,年度領(lǐng)域排名1691/161671,學(xué)術(shù)生涯排名1300/161671。2022年,天津市技術(shù)發(fā)明獎一等獎獲得者。2021年,美國糖化學(xué)界最高獎Claude S. Hudson獎獲得者,是首位獲此獎的中國大陸出生學(xué)者;中國生物工程學(xué)會第四屆張樹政糖科學(xué)獎杰出成就獎獲得者。2002年,美國化學(xué)會糖化學(xué)部Horace S. Isbell獎獲得者。2000年,與C.-H. Wong 教授共同獲得美國總統(tǒng)綠色化學(xué)獎。歷任美國邁阿密大學(xué)化學(xué)系助理教授,美國韋恩州立大學(xué)化學(xué)系正教授、終生教授,美國俄亥俄州立大學(xué)生物化學(xué)與化學(xué)系講席教授,美國佐治亞州立大學(xué)化學(xué)系講席教授、系主任。王鵬很早就關(guān)心并參與中國的科研建設(shè),是首屆國家自然科學(xué)基金委海外杰青,在南開大學(xué)從事科研工作。2007-2011年,在南開大學(xué)創(chuàng)辦藥學(xué)院并兼任院長(半職);2006-2019年,在山東大學(xué)申請并建立了中國國家糖工程技術(shù)研究中心并擔(dān)任中心主任。王鵬教授的研究領(lǐng)域涉及核酸科學(xué),糖科學(xué),藥物化學(xué),藥物遞送系統(tǒng)。他在各種國際學(xué)術(shù)刊物上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論著484篇(H-index 57 (Google Scholar) and 47 (Web of Science),參與7部學(xué)術(shù)專著的編寫,擁有美國和中國專利19項(xiàng)。
